The Midland Railway Company.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON. Maroh 26. Tbe Midlund Railway Company have asked for three years' extension of time to complete the Springfield section, and five years to complete tbe Nelson line. The company bas refused to accede to the request of the Government to sell land in small blocks to promote settlement.
