MESSRS. BUDGE & GOOD'S REPORT.
Onr yards were crowded with cattlo on the -13th inst., 100 head of cattle coming forward more than were advertised. The cattle were of first-class quality, and consequently bidding was spirited, with the exception of two pens all selling under the hammer. 1100 sheep came forward, but the competition for them was not so keen as usual. We quote : — 3-year steers, £A 10s to SA> 17b 6d ; 2to 2i-year do, £9 15s to M 6s; 18-months do, 47s 6d to 535; mixed yearlings. 34s to 38s 6d ; store cows. £9 to JB3 12s ; dairy do, £i 10s to £5 ; fat bullocks (light weights), .£5 5s to £5 7s 6d ; fat cows, £3 10s to 17s 6d ; bull, £Q 6s ; hoggets, 13s 7d.
