Cftutevlmvy won the mutch with Mastertou, by a try to nil. The grouud was very wet, and interfered with the pleasure ol the «ame. Both teams played a good open K ame < distinguished by some good rushes and fine kicking. Whatman crossed the lioe for Wairarapa, but lost the ball. Canterbury was forced down Iwice to Waiiarapa's odcb; and the local team may be said to have had slightly the best of the game after the try had beeu scored, as they more oflen endangered the visitor's goal than they were called on to defend their own.
