HOVER SCOUT SPONSORED PLANS FOR AUfS&IN SHOW M the last meeting ci % the executive of the Hurt Valley Horticultural Society It was decided to sponsor a Hover Scom who will be attending the Jamboree celebrations and it is hoped that lie will he an ambassador for the Society's interests, making useful contacts with horticultural interests overseas.
The Society hopes to make a presentation to the boy on Hie eve of his departure early in May. It is hoped to reinstate the novelty stall at the autumn flower show on April 23 and 24, and members are asked to assist with specimens of flowers and plants for exhibition on the stand. The Garden Circle will a -collective exhibit.
—Members and others are asked to hand in all raffle books not later than 22nd inst. The draw will take place on the last evening of the show.
