NOEL COWARD'S PLAYS
u;» PRODUCTION IN LOWER HUTT The recently-formed Stage Play Theatre Group is soon to present its first production, the proceeds from which are being donated to the Waterloo School Fund. The programme will consist of three one-act plays from the Noel Coward collection, "To-night at Eight-thirty," which incidentally the group has reentitled "To-night at Eight," for obvious reasons. The plays chpsen are "Hands Across the Sea," "Family Album," and "Rod Peppers," and, as was the case when the plays were first presented in London/with.Noel Coward and Gertrude Lawrence, playing the leading roles, the same players will form the cast of each subsequent play. A production of this nature has offered the members unlimited opportunities to participate in all branches of stage craft, since the scenery,.lighting, and all other equipment are the work of these members.
