SCOUT JAMBOREE
CARNIVAL POSTPONED WEEK
Owing to unforeseen circumstances the carnival originally scheduled for December 7th at Mrs. Riddil'ord's home, Woburn Road, has had to be postponed until Saturday, December 14th. The postponement will in no way lessen the attractions of the carnival and everything is being done to make the afternoon an enjoyable one. The grounds will be open from 2 p.m.,. the carnival being officially opened by the Governor-General, Sir Bernard Freyberg, at 3 p.m. Many attractions are being planned for young and old. it is hoped that Father Christmas will be present to take orders from children for Christmas deliveries. Bands will be in attendance.
Tickets of admission have been kindly donated and are npw on sale from any Scout oi- Cub.
