DRESS 105 YEARS OLD
IN LOWER HI'TT WINDOW
A dress 105 years old is a very interesting exhibit ii. a sjiop window in Carey's drapery establishment in Lower Hutt. The dress was brought f,O New Zealand by Mrs. Fra»er when she arrived at Fetone in the ship Blenheim in 1841. Also-in the window is the etching of Wellington and Port Nicholson in I 846 that was presented to the Early Settlers' Association by Mr. W. Toomath recently. Those who know the Wellington of today will be amazed at the changes which 100 years have brought.
