NEW PARKING AREAS
HEAVY TRAFFIC CONDITIONS The city engineer, in his report to the Lower Hutt City Council on Monday night, stated that traffic conditions had been heavy during the month. High Street, between Woburn and Waterloo Roads, had received particular attention from time to time, especially on Friday evenings. The using of the speaker system on the patrol vehicles was found to be of considerable advantage in keeping the street clear of would-be double bankers.
