BAND FESTIVAL
PLANS FOB LOWER HUTT The secretary of the Civic Band wrote to the Lower Hutt City Council on Monday night asking for the use of the Recreation Ground on Sunday, November 3, for a band demonstration. He said that the Masterton Band ■was desirous of returning the visit made by the Hutt Band to Masterton recently, and it was hoped that these two bands would be joined by the. Lower Hutt Municipal Band, the Upper Hutt Municipal Band and the Hutt High School, Band in a massed programme on the Recreation ground. The request was granted by flie City Council.
