AUTUMN SHOW

Especially considering the adverse season, the Autumn Show of the Hutt Valley branch of the Humic Compost Society was a tribute both to the Valley and to the enthusiasm of the Society's members. There were exhibitors in all but six of the 39 classes provided for, and flowers and vegetable's iiiade a fine. display. The flower section was judged by Mr. G. W. Cairns, of the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society, and the produce section by Mr. J. Stirling, of the Wellington Botanical Gardens Prizewinners were as follows: Vegetables: beans, Mrs. E., Hall 1, A.
