HUTT'S 'QUOTA EXCEEDED Lower Hutt's annual quota of £39,000 for the year ended March 31, was exceeded by £923/15/11. The response of the Hutr Valley; residents was truly magnificent, particularly during the last three months when a total of £13,800 was subscribed. The number of new accounts open ed was also most gratifying, resulting in an increase of 353, the majority of these new accounts being opened under the "Group Savings Scheme," and augurs well for the future of National Savings in the district during the coming year.
