WAIWHETU TOWNSWOMEN
The monthly meeting of the Waiwhetu Townswomen's Guild met recently in St. Paul's Hall, Whites Line East. Mrs. Black, the new president .presided. Drama and Arts and Crafts Circles have been formed and are progressing favourably. Mrs. Bingley, of the Miramar branch, gave a very interesting account of her travels through China and Japan pre-war, and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. She was presented with a beautiful spray.
Mrs. Smith was the winner of the best flower in the garden.
