CHURCH OF CHRIST
The members of the Women's Auxiliary journeyed to Wellington to hold a combined meeting with Vivian Street Church of Christ. There was a large attendance, despite wintry weather conditions. The Hutt ladies arranged the programme, and the president, Mrs. Evans, welcomed all visitors Greetings were given by Mrs. Wilson, of Wanganui, and Mrs. Hall, of Upper Hutt. Mrs. Russell, of Wellington, kindly contributed two pleasing solos. The talk of the afternoon was given by Mrs. Alan Lowe, wife of the minister, who took as her subject "The life of Madame Cliiang-kai-Shek." It was very interesting to hear of the many activities of this gifted and charming lady.
