SERVICES CLUB

The rooms of the Lower Hutt Services Club have been open throughout the week at usual hours, and, considering the numerical reduction in personnel of the fighting services stationed in the Hutt Valley area, the attendances have remained very satisfactory. The "Maestro and his Merry Men" provided the music for Saturday evening's dance session, and Miss P. Norris, Jean Goss and Julia Tuppin and Bob Sink of the U.S. Navy were the artists for the Sunday evening programme. Mem bers of the N.Z. Union of Townswomen's Guilds, were the hostesses for the week-end. The M.C. was Mr J. Kyle, and the accompanists Messrs F. Lickfold and S. H. Wood.
