TOWNSWOMEN'S GUILD
ALICETOWN IJRAXCH The Alicetown Branch of the Dominion Federation of Townswomen's Guilds recently held their monthly meeting, Miss Duncan (chairwoman) presiding. The speaker for the afternoon was Mrs. May, secretary of the Crippled Women's Association. Mrs. May gave a very instructive and .interesting talk 011 the association's activities. The Stokes Valley Institute gave a very humorous play reading, which was enjoyed by all members. Mrs. Coleman also rendered two solos. The winner of : t)i.e best flower in the garden competition was Mrs. Annear, Mrs. Coleman winning the monthly competition.
