WOBURN CROQUET CLUB
$ There was a large gathering of ladies at the bridge and "500" afternoon held in' the Woburn Croquet Club's pavilion recently. The hostesses, Mesdames Trickett and Lockett, served a delicious afternoon tea. Among those present were Mesdames Wood, Mouat, Johnson, J. August, Du Faur, Clapham, Sandford, Roberts, Martin, Lambert, Sutcliffe, Monks, Wilson, Prince, Jameson, Rothnie, Lambourne, Young, Lockett, Robertson, Galvin, Roberts, Kerr, Trickett, L. August, Cocker, Edwards, Warburton, Johnston, Annear, Strand, Collins, Mill, Tynan, Haden, August and Mcintosh. Prizes were won by Mesdames Wood and Jameson (bridge), and Mesdames Edwards and Haden (500).
