Jl wonderful opportunity to near the greatest of oratorios is being afforded residents of the Hutt Valley ftn Sunday, December 7th -when Handel's immo.-l-.il work "The Messiah?' wili be performed in the Methodist Ohureh. The choir has been considerably augmented aiul there will be an. orchestra of 25, consisting of members of the 2YA and Wellington Symphony Orchestras. Mr Ernest Dawson ,is the conductor and Mr. C. E. Hornran organist. The choir is fortunate in having seemed the services of such talented artists as Miss Christina Ormiston of Auckland (soprano), and Mrs. Wilfred Andrews of Wellington (contralto)* The tenor solos will be sung by Mr. Austin BlacMe and the baas by Mr. Orr. Music lovers cannot afford to miss this great feast of music. -
