HUTT REPRESENTATIVE,
For several years-an examiner of the Boyal Life Savin-g Sdeiety, Mr. B. .S. Knox, town clerk of Lower Hutt, has been asked to maintain that position, and also to accept the office of Btafct Valley district representative. for ' the Society. Tiie society has eom«,to the conclusion that the great increase in the popTi!lation of Lower Hutt makes it imperative for there to be such a Tepresentative in the district. . ; :._■■...
■ In its letter asking Mr.; Knox to accept the two positions, the society congratulated him on his, good work in the past, and trusted that the incoming season would be a most successful one to the society, and to Mr. Knoi himself as its representative.
