Mr. F. Carnie who has been closely associated with the youth woxk of St. Stephen's Chturc-h, is leaving the Hutt

An informal and enjoyaible function took place recently in tie tea rooms at Karkealdie and Stains when a very pleasant tea party was given to Mrs. Isabel Halligan by '-her' elocution .pupils who were: competitors in the recent competitions. Miss Graeie Korr, winno i* of fchd Senior Elocution Schaflorsliipj presented Mrs. Halligan (on behalf of the pupils) with a handsome evening' bag.
