FOXTON’S CLUB’S GALA. On Wednesday afternoon, in fmo weather the Foxton Club held its official opening, when there was a large attendance, including rinks from Otaki, Levin, Shannon, Palmerston North, Manawatu, Takaro, Northern, Terrace 'End and Feilding, the green being fully occupied. The Otaki rink was as follows:
Palmerston North: Simmons, A Wimsett, Lawson, Boon (s) 22; v, Otaki: Noble, W'atford, Windley, Me Gill (s) 17.
