OTAKI BOWLING CLUB.
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Committee of the Otaki Bowling Club was held at thy Jubilee Hotel on Monday night, the President, Mr. .T. MeGill, presiding. The Secretary (Mr. W. Wilson) reported that he had made the necessary arrangements with Mr. Richards for a dance to be held at the Railway theatre on the 25th inst., and also for one on Labour Night (October 28th). It was also hoped to arrange one between those two dates.
The resignation of Mr. J. Hearne was accepted with regret. It was stated that the green was looking well and that the new g.-ass had come on well. Mr. C. Bennett wrote thanking the Club for re-electing him as the Club's delegate. He assured members that he would have their interests at heart. Tt was agreed that a number of the Club's badges be procured, there being several members who had been unable to procure them.
