MANAKAU NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent), The friends of Mr J. 'Barbery will be glad to hear that he is improving and is likely to be home again soeii from Pabncrstfon Hospital, where he has been for some time past. Mrs <C. A. Dorset left yesterday on a holiday trip to Sydney. The fortnightly dance run by the School Committee was held on Friday. There was a fair attendance. Vocal were contributed by Mr M. Johnson and extras were played by Mrs Leen (accordeon), Mr D. E. Robinson (accordeon), and Mr Weaver (cornet).
