Youth’s Fatal Fall Into Crater of It. Ruapehu
PARTY SETTING OUT TO RECOVER BODY ■WANGANUI, Last Night. - A fatal accident occurred on the summit of Mount Ruapehu this, afternoon, when John Wall, aged 19, only son of Dr. A. H. Wall, of Wangani , fell 200 feet into the crater and was killed. His body could not be recovered by his two companions, but a party of 14 men is to leave the Chateau at National Park to-morrow morning at 4 o ’dock.
