Motor Lorry Operators’ and Goods Service Licenses

EXTENSION OF TIME GRANTED WELLINGTON, Last Night. By Order-in-Council Gazetted this week, a brief extension has been granted in the time during which mo-tor-lorry opera/tors may apply for a goods service license. The date provided by the earlier Order-in-Council was May 1, but it has been found that a hardship would be caused in niSLiiy cases if this date were adhered to.

By the same Order-in-Couneil, the, controlled areas for goods services are re-enacted, there being no change m the position of the areas. The reenactment is merely to cover a legal point.
