LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.

Keen interest is being shown locally in the proposal to form a branch o£ the League of Mothers in Levin. The * League is a Dominion-wide movement founded .by the Lady Alice. Ferguson, while resident' in the Dominion. It embraces all home-makers and is ah educative body founded on a. religious basis. Tt seeks to place home life on a high plane, and to study subjects pertaining to homemaking and the training of children. All women of the district are invited to be present next* Tuesday, May 23rd, at 2 p.m., at the Century Hall, when representatives of the Wellington Provincial Committee, including Mrs H. W.) Kersley, the Provincial Organising Secretary, will be present to explain the workings' of the movement. It is confidently expected that there will hie a large attendance of prospective members to launch this movement that appeals to all types of homemakers.
