TINANCIAL STATEMENT. At a metting of the Foxton Horticultural Society, the .secretary submitted the following financial statement in connection with the anniversary summer show: — Receipts: —Entrance fees, £l2 7s 6d; door takings, £l2 16s 9d; special and points prize, £9 8s 6d; subs., to perpetual trophy, £3 5s 6d; balance of points and specials to collect, £7 6s; a total of £45 4s 3d. Expenses:—Jud,gesj, $4/ :l{ls; ' rout Town Hall and meeting room, £3 19s; prize money, £25 17s; judges' lunches, 12s; luncheon (visitors), £3; refreshments, 10s perpetual trophy, £9 2s fid; sundries, lis; timber, £1 0s 9d; printing and advertising, £7 4s fid; a total of" £56 7s 9d.
