DE LUXE PICTURES.
SOUTHERN CROSS PICTURES TONIGHT. The moving pictures of the arrival oi the Southern. Cross at Christchurch are very highly spoken of in the centres where they have been shown and form, a remarkable record of an historic event. ,■ They will be screened at the De 'Luxe Theatre to-night and 'give some idea of the great size of the plane and the wonderful scenes of enthusiasm at Christchurch as well as some close-up, pictures of her intrepid crevf. Two old favourites in Wallace Beery and -Raymond Hatton are together again in ‘‘Wife Savers/’ one of the supports. They have been soldiers and sailors and airmen. They then turned, their hand to putting out fires with laughing success. Now they’re back in the army for a little while, and Wally tries his hand at mountain climbing after demobilisation. “The 13th Hour” will be again screened by special request. ’
