CHRISTMAS GOODWILL EFFORT
(By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright.) “(Received This Dav, 9.35 a.in.) CAPETOWN, Dee. 17. Pemarkable scenes were witnessed on the arrival of an Indian delegation to take part in a round table conference on the Indian question. Huge crowds of Indians assembled on the station and gave the delegates an enthusiastic reception. It is announced that the Sunday before Christmas will be observed throughout India as a day of prayer for the success of the Conference. The Christian Churches in South Africa have been asked to join in the prayer.
