RIOT IN SHANGHAI.
(Received This Day, 12.40 a.in.) PEKING, August 13. Bands of strikers at Shanghai rioted and looted the food shops, as a result of the non-payment of strike pay. The police were helpless and fired once, wounding one man. Eventually the labour officials and municipal police restored order.
