Thu Right Rev. W H. Baddeley, Bishop of Melanesia, who has been visiting England, Will arrive at Auckland by the Aorangi on June 8 from Vancouver and will spend a brief period in New Zealand before going on to .Sydney.
Tlie Rev. C. Maclaverty, formerly vicar of Island Bay and now vicar of St. Saviour’s, Lyttelton, is to suceeos the Rev. Neville Watkins as vicar of St. John’s, llororata, in the Christchurch Church of Englund diocese.
Mr Jan Macarthur took bis seat cm the board of governors of Scots College for the first ti«"i on Monday evening. In welcoming Mr Macarthur, the chairman, the Rev. J. It. Bluncnard, recalled thut Mr Macarthur was the first boy to be enrolled ut the college.
