TOUR OF FAR EAST
Mr. and Mrs. H. W. C. Baird A three month’s holiday tour of the Far East is to bo undertaken by Miami Mrs JI. W. ( . Baird, of Hastings, who leave lor Auckland during the week-end to join the Aorangi for Sydney and later board the Nellore on their tour of China and Japan. The tour of China will embrace most of the principal cities and towns on the east coast and various places of great interest both in the northern and southern parts of the empire. This is the third trip abroad that Mr and Mrs Baird have made together, though it is first 1o this part of the world. Mr Bnird himself has twice been round the world on various trips. They anticipate returning to Hastings towards the end of August or early in September.
