> B Hastings Plunket Contest PROGRESS OF VOTING In connection with the voting at the Hastings Plunket Society’s photographic exhibition, now being held at the shops of Messrs. Baird and Westerman, the following babies w-ere leading in their respective classes last night:— Class A: 2 Neville 1, 30 Anna 2, 22 Audrey 3, 3 Winifred 4, 10 Margaret 5, 13 Eileen 6. Class B: 38 Elizabeth 1, 18 Karen 2, 62 Raemyn 3, 28 Margaret 4, 42 Ng-aire 5, 15 Nigel 6. Class C: 15 Josephine 1, 18 Elaine 2, 17 Suzanne 3, 1 Anne 4, 37 Ina 5, 90 Kelvin 6. Class D: 12 Peter 1, 4 Peter 2, 26 Michael 3, 81 Elizabeth 4, 29 Fleur 5, 47 Nola 6. Class E: 12 Maurice 1, 14 William 2, 13 lan 3, 9 Barry 4. Class F: 6 Stanley and Ralph 1, 4 Noeline and Norman 2, 1 David and Diane 3. The exhibition is a delightful collection of some hundreds of studies of Plunket babies, and is proving extremely popular. It will remain open daily till tho night of next Saturday week, and on each of the remaining Saturday nights will be open till 9 p.m. Votes cost only a penny each, and the money is to be devoted io the general fund of the Hastings branch of the society.
