A lightning strike of 1200 bus conductors in Dublin, because the diy’s time sheet allegedly broke tho United Tramway Company’s agreement regard ing hours of duty, spoilt tho Whitsun holiday. Thousands of excursionists were stranded in the capital, while visitors to the country and seaside had to re turn as best they could in heavy rain. The tram services were normal. Later: The strike has been settled.
