ST. PATRICK’S CONCERT
To-morrow Evening, Hastings lhe Municipal Theatre, Hastings, should resound with much hilarity and applause to-morrow evening. A special Irish national concert has been arranged to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and the talent that has been brought together will provide only the best of entertainment.
The programme promises much variety, as will be seen from the following. Songs will be rendered by Mrs H. B. Poppelwell. Miss M. Joseph. Messrs G Madigan and MacDonald. Instrumental items by the orchestra and a trio composed of Miss McCutcheon (piano), the Rev. Father MacDonald (violin) and Mr J. Marslcano (’cello). Sketches and humorous numbers by Messrs L. Fail, H. Poppelwell and J. Le Compte. Dancing displays by the pupils of Mlles. G. Smyth, D. Shapleski, and K. McKeegan.
Other items will add further variety of entertainment so that all will be catered for. altogether a programme worth three times the admission prices advertised. At very little extra cost reserves may be had at Fail’s; newsagent.
