PIGEON RACING
Hastings Homing Club The Hastings Homing Club flew a race from Petone last Saturday. The birds were liberated in fine weather at 9.30 a.m. by Mr. J. 1,. Bolton. They met with strong head winds which scattered the birds and the winning bird flew the distance of 150 miles in 4hrs. 40mins. lOsecs. Results. —L. Harrison's B.C.C. “Tune In,” 956.4 yards, per min, 1; L. Harrison’s B.C.H. “Moonlight Lass,” 950.6, 2; L. Harrison’s B.C.H. “Moonlight Lady,” 049.4, 3; L. Smith’s B.H. “Bronzy Bill,” 929.8, 4; L.
