Bride-to-Be Entertained

Sparksman’s home, Iwyford when the hostesses were MesV?.™® 8 , t ’ arv ’ s > Sparksman Bixley and Mitchell and Miss Pat Jarvis. In one room a “five-hundred” tournament was much enjoyed by the elder members of the party, while in another “joni the youthful members were entertained with games, competitions and dancing. Mr S. Lydford, of Napier, delighted his listeners with sever;, I items both on the piano and the tin whistle, and Miss Joan Sparksman pleasingly recited. The music for the dancing was supplied by Miss Pat Jarvis.

During the evening the guest of honour, Miss Lindsay, was called on to open the gift parcels and in this she was assisted by Miss Thora Young and the Misses It. and B. Hill.

Miss Lindsay was wearing a becoming blue floral dress, the bodice of which was smocked on to a daiutv yoke.
