SHEEP DOG TRIALS
Successful Meeting The Farmers’ Union dog trials wore very successfully run on Saturday on grounds at Havelock North kindly lent by Mr J. E. Lane. The results are as follow:— Open event: J. R. Thom’s “Kip” 53) points .1; W. Stanilands “Wag” 52 points 2; J. Donnelly’s “Skye” 51) points 3. Maiden event: J. R. Thom’s “Kip” 53) points 1; W. Cook’s “Help” 5'2) points 3; W. Staniland’s “Spider” 50 points 3. Thanks arc due to Mr F. Tong, whose judging gave every satisfaction, to Mr D. J. Riggir, who was responsible for ♦he organising of the trials, and to the Hawke's Bay branch of the Women's Division of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, for dispensing refreshments, etc.
