Buffalo summit at 1 p.m. to morrow and thus win the wager. When ho halted last night ho had covered *6 miles since leaving Beechworth last Saturday. Both men are reasonably fit, but Mr Parkinson’s shins are sore and Mr Evans complains of cramp in the freezing atmosphere. A big crowd will welcome them at Buffalo Chalet to-morrow. 'The railways are running a special excursion.
