PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
Bible Class Committee
The annual meeting of the H.B. Presbyterian Bible Class District Committee was held in St. Andrew’s Church, Hastings, last evening. The meeting was splendidly attended, representatives being present from Wairoa, Putonno, Takapau and Waipukurau as well as from Hastings and Napier and the classes of the surrounding district. Following the constitution of the meeting by the president, annual reports and' financial statements were received from both young women’s and young men’s sections of the committee. The reports revealed that the outstanding features in the year’s work had been the united gatherings of the members at the Leader’s Retreat, the Labour Dav Rally (when 365 were present), the annual B.C. Summer Conference held in Hastings, and the Easter Camp held at Morerc. Sincere appreciation was expressed by the president of all co-workers; who had in practical ways helped forward the Bible Class work of the Church in this district.
The meeting concluded with the election of the executive and committee officers for the ensuing year.
