NORSEWOOD SWIMMING CLUB
There was only a fair attendance at the Norsewood Swimming Club’s meeting. Mr A. F. Culliford presided and before commencing business made feeling reference to the passing of the club’s late president, Mr A. E. Boyle, and also the late Mr A. B. Hansen, who was a life member and was largely instrumental in the swimming bath being established. Votes of condolence were passed to the relatives, the gathering standing in silence. Tho secretary, Mr J. Madson, presented the report of the swimming sports held at the close ot last scarett which were verysuccessful. The treasurer, Mr E. Smith, gave a statement of the finances of the club, which was considered very satisfactory. A request from the Norsewood Domain Board, asking for financial assistance in constructing a cattlestop to the entrance of Anzao Park, was considere.il ami it. was decided to help towards the work. Various other matters were dealt with.
