TO-DAY’S RECIPE
AFGHAN BISCUITS. Ingredients; Gozs. flour, 2ozs. cornflakes, Gozs. butter, Sozs. sugar, 1 tablespoonful cocoa, i egg, 1 teaspoonful baking powder, a few drops vanilla. Method: Cream the butter and sugar and add the beaten egg, then the cornflakes slightly heated Sift the flour and baking powder and add this and the cocoa and vanilla to the mixture. Drop in spoonfuls on a cold slide and cook 15 minutes in a good oven.
