ANOTHER STABLE FIRE

Three Yearlings Destroyed RANDWICK OUTBREAK (Received 6, 1.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 6. Fire this morning destroyed the wooden stables at the sale ring of Mr H. Chisholm, Randwick. Three yearlings sold yesterday were burned to death. A house alongside, occupied by Mr T. Sweeney, was gutted. Another part of Mr Chisholm’s stables, occupied by Mr Fred Williams’s horses, including Chatham, was undamaged, and a third section, containing Mr George Price’s charges was also untouched, the wind being in the right direction Tho horses, however, were removed for safety. Golden Winds was also in Mr. Williams’s stables, which were undamaged. The sale ring, which was complete! v destroyed, was insured for £4900
