Ninety Mile Beach WRITING AT 50 M.P.H. (By Telegraph-Preaa Association.) AUCKLAND, April 6. Mr. H. S. Butcher, of Auckland, well known in connection with speed record attempts in New Zealand, says that a few days ago, while motoring on Ninety-Mile Beach at 50 miles an hour, lie wrote, without difficulty, a description of the track. He sails to-morrow on a trip abroad, during which he will visit Daytona beach and the dried lake bed in Utah, and he intends to see if he can write with the same facility al the same speed there. He also hopes to see Sir Malcolm Campbell and inquire into the possibility of his attempting the speed record in New Zealand.
