MR. H. E. HOLLAND MEMORIAL

Erection Decided by Labour Party By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 4. The erection of a memorial on the grave of the late Leader of the Opposition, Mr H. E, Holland, was decided upon at the annual conference of tho Labour Party to-day. Mr Holland's grave is in Bolton .street cemetery, Wellington. A special committee reported that it had consulted with Mr R. 0. Gross, the celebrated sculptor, and it had been decided to erect a memorial at a cost of £6OO, the cost to be met by subscriptions from members and supporters of the Labour movement throughout the Dominion. A sub-committee was appointed to organise the raising of the necessary money.
