COMING EVENTS
Tlie Garden Circle of the Hastings Townswomen’s Guild will be held at the Cornwall Park Kiosk on Monday next at 2.30 p.m. If it is raining the meeting will be held at St. Andrew’s Hall. Members are requested to bring own tea basket. On Tuesday next, at 7.30 p.m., in St. Andrew’s Hall, practices for “Hiawatha” will begin. A full attendance is essential. All members and intending members of the Hastings Business Women’s Club are reiniiiiled of the tea to be held at the H.B. Fanners’ tea-rooms on Monday, at 6 p.m. The arts and crafts circle of the I Hastings Townswomen’s Guild will hold their first meeting of the year on Thursday next at 2.30 p.m. in St. Andrew's Hall. Demonstrations in glovemaking, pineneedle baskets and wool rugs will be given. The Hastings branch of the British I Music Society will hold its first annual I meeting in the Borough Council I Chambers on Wednesday evening next lat 7 o'clock. All members are asked to I attend, and it is hoped that intending members will come along and enrol, and so assist in helping the cause of musical j art. The society is doing excellent work i in promoting a love of music in the , | home and in friendly gatherings, and hopes for a largely increased member- | ship this year
