FITZGERALD BEATS FRANKLIN By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 12. A professional boxing match between Joe Franklin (9.2) and Jack Fitzgerald (9.9), an Australian, ended in the sixth round, Fitzgerald securing the decision on a foul. He was carried to his corner amid booing from the crowd. Franklin connected several times with left and right swings to the head and body, but the Australian was too clover and dealt out as much as he received.
