For the period ended August 5, compdising 22 crushing days, 17,928 tons of ore were crushed and treated by the Waihi Gold Mining Co. for a return of 5044 ounces of gold and 32,918 fine ounces of silver. This included 2495 tons of ore mined from the Waihi Grand Junction area, which yielded 785 ounces of gold and 3631 ounces, of silver.—Press Assn.
