Following is the Government Meteorologist’a summary and forecast for the Central, East and North-East districts for the 24 hours from 9 o’clock today:— Summary: An intense anti-< yclone still covers the whole of New Zealand, the weather being fine and culm practically generally. A shallow cyclone which is forming on the New South Wales coast is likely to be affecting local weather after about two days. Forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds with south-east to northeast predominating. Weather mainly fine, but an isolated showo” or two on parts of the const and the north-east.
