HASTINGS CLUB COMPETITION. THIRD ROUND CONCLUDES TOMORROW. The third round of the Hastings senior grade cricket competition will be concluded to-morrow afternoon -when the two games now in progress will bo completed. At Cornwall Park, Whakatu will commence their reply to the 328 knocked up by Tomoana last week. Whakatu possess a number of good batsmen who are capable of making big scores and spectators should be given a good afternoon’s entertainment. The game between Hastings and Old Boys at Nelson Park, promises to be a most interesting one. Old Boys set up 182 last Saturday and Hastings require 41 runs to secure a lead on the first innings, Cyril Martin being 76 not out. Junior grade matches will be played at Cornwall Park and at the High School. PICNICKERS v. TWYFORD. The following will represent H.P.C. against Twyford during the week-end at the Polo Grounds:—J.
