TWO MEN MISSING
FISHING IN OPEN BOAT.
CRAFT FOUND STRANDED.

Auckland, Oct. 30.
Two young men, Roy Goldwater, aged 23, of Victoria Crescent, Newmarket, and Christopher King, aged 26, of Vermont street, Ponsonby, who left Auckland at eight o'clock yesterday morning in a 12-foot open boat for a day’s fishing in the upper reaches of tho Waitemata Harbour, have been reported missing. Their boat was found stranded fit Shoal Bay, Northcote, early this morning, but there was no trace of the occupants. The young men had expected to return yesterday afternoon. The weather in Auckland has been somewhat boisterous over tho week-end, and fears are entertained for their safety.
